The Bone Room by fenrirhound The Bone Room by fenrirhound
.....I really wish I could have cropped the borders on this.....That's my only regret with this piece. My favorite part is the hand and foot bones. Because I feel it takes a good amount of bravery to take models of a foot and hand, smash them with a hammer and draw all the itty bitty pieces.

Is an observational piece or did you use certain resources? Either it looks pretty cool.

I really don't know how to respond to this without sounding like a slackjawed idiot :'D

It was meant to be practice on finding the finer details of the human body that kind of grew into a more artistic piece, the resources I used were ebony pencil and at least 5 different skeleton models, all of which were broken.

Funny story actually; I held the spine and rib cage with one hand, and drew with the other on a drawing horse, one day the dean of the school was giving a tour and all these parents could do was stare at me, hunched over my drawing board scribbling away, looking down a rib cage

Ah ok. Very interesting that you used all these broken skeletons, especially the rib cage near thevi pelvis. Also yeah, I had something similar happen to me on several occasion, like on the transit with an old couple.
Funny how humans today can still be amazing by someone's work without the use of technology ( not that is bad of course, but still is amazing).
